If you find yourself needing time to recover from a surgery, 疾病或受伤, our 过渡关心 Program allows you to recover in a hospital setting, with daily access to medical care, skilled 护理 care, and/or skilled rehabilitation. We provide 过渡关心 at our main Hospital campus in Quincy, California.

Medicare covers 过渡关心 Program if you have a three-day qualifying stay as an inpatient and require the services of either skilled 护理 care and/or fall within rehabilitation guidelines. Commercial 保险s may offer a skilled care and rehabilitation benefit covering Swing Bed. Paying privately for Swing Bed Care is an option as well. 一般, you can stay in a 过渡关心 Program as long as you are making measurable progress as determined by rehabilitation services, 护理, 而医生. You could be in the program for as little as three days, or up to 100 days. After you have reached your goals, Medicare will no longer fund your stay in a 过渡关心 Program. Before choosing a facility for 过渡关心, contact the facility to determine if your insurance is contracted; what specific services they offer; and if the facility can meet the needs of the patient or loved one.
